Topic: On the Lake
The lake has finally gone down and we were able to put our pier back up. The fishing also was a lot better than our last trip. Caught enough to make a nice fish fry. I went out with my husband Saturday evening. Then my husband went out on Sunday morning and he went to where the lake feeds into the river. Well the motor died on him and he had to row all the way back. That is why we tell our renters they can use our boat, but not the motor. Not the most dependable. Still had a nice trip, but cut it short one day since we couldn't take the boat out too far unless we wanted to row. We did catch a nice stripper from our Pier before we left though. Can't wait to get back out there to do some fishing as it sounds like Fall is a great time to fish.
